Day Card by Kandis Smith

Creamy whites and dreamy oranges.... just what my life should be like. haha These colors are so whimsical to me and when I saw these gorgeous white papers I had to create a fun card. I made a flower out of the cupcake liners and added a Tim Holtz button to the center and layered it over a Graphic 45 label.

The fabric was layered over the orange cardstock. And something unique about this  card--- I left it with just the word Day. I wasn't sure if I wanted it to say Happy day, Your day, special day, etc. This way when I go to use it I can just stamp the word I want to use right next to it!

hugs,
Kandis

Kirsty's Note -
I just love your brilliant idea of using the fabric square in the kit instead of patterned paper, and I also love your idea of  the "DAY" card! Wonderful work, thanks Kandis!!!!

  3. This is a beautiful card. I love the flower made from the cupcake liners... clever... and the fabric adds so much to the texture. Both items are a great addition to this month's kit. I love that they have all been unique in their own way. I LOVE Pixie Dust Paperie kits!!!!!
