Hi I'm Ros Crawford from Liverpool in UK.... and I am so excited to be working with the rest of the girls here at Pixie Dust Paperie! I have always loved making things... creating makes me happy.... and I share this love, teaching a group of mentally and physically challenged people once a week at "Thursday Club." My best creation is and always will be my son Mike, hence my blog name of "Mikeysmom" and in the short time that I have been blogging..... I have made so many friends and been inspired by so many of you who share my passion for creativity.

Evgenia

I'm Evgenia from Moscow, Russia. First I want to thank Kirsty for choosing me in your team. I'm really happy to join you. I started scrapbooking one year ago when my daughter was born and couldn't stop since then. I like to make altered projects and albums for my friends. My favorite styles are shabby and vintage. Recently I tried sewing and like it so much. Here are 2 hearts which I sewed for Pixie January Challenge. And I hope to inspire you more in the future.
Hugs.... Joy_L

Here's Evgenia's lovely hearts project for Pixie January Challenge "Love Notes"

Altered NoteBox By Wendi Robinson

I created this cute lil altered Note box, mainly using the Echo Park's Victoria Gardens line. I used the "Rose Gardens" paper for the lining of the box. Then I added the pink printed patterned paper and used a border punch to create a scallop border.

I took apart the Maya Road flowers and just used a partial of it. I used the "Notes" sticker from the Echo Park Victoria Gardens Elements sticker:

I used some fussy cutting on the flower print to add some pop:

Just add some green trim and another Echo Park Elements sticker:

And you've created a fun lil Notes box. This is perfect for my daughter, she constantly has notes all over her desk, so this will be great to help her keep them all in one place.

Kirsty's Note -
That is an awesome idea, thanks Wendi!

box by Zielonooka

Witajcie:)

Mam nadzieję, że Was zainspirowałam:))

Miłego tygodnia życzę:)

-Zielonooka

Designer Day 2 ~ heart-shaped trinket box by lauren bergold

i've said it before, but it bears repeating: the number one reason to buy a pixie dust paperie kit (such as this month's MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM!) is that all of the hard work of picking out and coordinating the most awesome new products is already accomplished; pixie-in-chief kirsty vittetoe has done it for us! so we can sit right down and make something straightaway. like this:

i love little trinket boxes. this one came from the big box craft store and cost less than a dollar, which is quite good value when you realize i will use it to bestow a little present, and then the recipient can use it for something, as well!

projects like this are easy and fun, especially when you have such a beautiful mix of soft colors and patterns. i've got prints here from american crafts, pink paislee, graphic 45, and glitz design; i think i could've spent HOURS agonizing over my entire stash without coming up with a mix half as lovely as this!

inside the lid of the box you can see i've hidden a little surprise--it's a coordinating heart-shaped card. i'm imagining this box as part of an anniversary gift, maybe filled with hershey's kisses?! so i think the simple "love" sentiment built from girls' paperie alphabet stickers is just right.

i used my collection of flower dies, some distress inks, and a liberal spritz of water to create layered and distressed dimensional flowers for the top of the box and the card. the smaller one is surmounted by a girls' paperie "jubilee" blossom; the larger is built around a pebbles felt rose that i have glimmer-misted a soft pink.

as always, i've colored the edges of the box with a permanent marker that tones with the distress inks used on the edges of the papers. this ensures that any little gaps between the various surfaces of the box look intentional and "finished" whilst also making the trimming & fitting of the pieces quick and easy. i use fast-grab tacky glue and a disposable brush to coat each piece liberally and affix it securely to the box.

i just hope my brother and his wife will ♥LOVE♥ their little anniversary box as much as i loved making it! :)

Kirsty's Note -
Absolutely gorgeous!!! They will love this little anniversary box for sure!!!

Designer Day 3 ~ box by Zielonooka

Hello:)

I want to show you today this gentle white box. Oryginally inside this metal box were fruit drops, unfortunately I do not show how it looked before because the inspiration came so quickly that I even did not take the pictures: /.
I embellished the box with Pink Paislee - Fancy Filigree peper, using its both sides.

I added some beads and ribbon with a beautiful Tim Holtz button. This button is like a cherry on the top of the cake:).
This Box could be the perfect package for some small gift.

Have a nice day:)

XOXO
