"just my type" card by lauren bergold

pixie kits absolutely ALWAYS have a fabulous selection of embellishments, but one of my all-time favorite selections has got to be these october afternoon "thrift shop" stickers in the YOU MAKE LIFE FUN kit! for one thing, you get an entire 12x12" sheet... so there are plenty to choose from; plus the stickers themselves are just sooooooooo cool! this pink vintage typewriter is gorgeous, isn't it?

the sheet of paper in the typewriter says, "here's the story" so you could use this baby pretty much ANYWHERE. since i was using it on a card, i added the phrase "you are just my type" rendered in dymo labels. i love the size of the sticker, as well; at about 3.5" square it's large enough to create a whole card around, but could easily be used on a layout without overwhelming your photos!

the letter-patterned reverse side of pink paislee's "beauty parlor" paper made the perfect background, so after adding some prima flowers, a few smaller stickers, and several border-punched scraps of papers from the kit, i called it a day. this kind of fun, easy crafting is "just my type" for sure!!! :)

santa bag and tag... by Lynn Millers

today, I have a gift bag and tag to show you.  love the santa in this paper from webster pages!  and its just one of the many pretty papers in the christmas in paris kit!  it’s trimmed with sheet music paper that I scallop punched.  the cute charm and flower are also it the kit.  the twine and the pleated dictionary paper came from the blue moon-october kit.
