"You're so Tweet!" by Lori Hairston

I just have to say it: I think this card is so tweet! It's Lori, with a card for you. Just about everything is from the October kit. I love the kraft journal spots from Maya Road. They are fabulous! Don't the papers look pretty with the journal spot? I also have to say that the cardstock in this kit is quite nice - very thick with a nice texture. The pink is a great color. It's very pretty framing that cute little bird.
I roughed up the pretty pink flower a bit, added buttons from the kit, and of course, that pretty seam binding ribbon.

Kirsty's note -
This is really "tweet" Lori! Thanks!

Be back tomorrow for another beautiful project!

  1. I spotted teh way you place the pattern papers layer by layer with the right really outstands the card overall..the background looks like lace on the left glance thru, but it's a paper..splendid

  2. This is a very tweet card indeed. I just love all the layering. x

  3. ♥TWEET♥ as can be, in fact!!! i especially loooooooove what you have done with the seam binding...and you've given me a "lightbulb" moment by INKING THE FLOWER ...or indeed anything made of fit your colorscheme. (which bizarrely had never occurred to me--but i know i will use that idea A LOT now-- BRILLIANT!!!)

  4. Beautiful card, Lori--loving the seam binding technique and that gorgeous inked flower. Perfectly embellished!
