The real beauty...lo by Sandi

Hi everyone!  Today I'd like to share a lo that I made using one of the Glitz 'whatnot' cards  in this beautiful Christmas in Paris kit. Oh yes, this card is just one of many absolutely wonderful cards that is included in this kit! When I first opened the package of 'whatnots' I got so excited just thinking of all the possibilies that could be created with them....you are going to go crazy over these! For this lo I added some paint, and a  stamp that I had. Then, one of the gorgeous Prima flowers, and ribbon from the kit along with some lace from the awesome Sept. kit and voila`...  

Don't you just love that background pp too! So girly and rich looking!

butterflies and roses... by Lynn Millers

hi everyone!  I’m working with pixie dust paperie’s christmas in paris kit, again.   I love the colors on this graphic 45 paper and paired it here with some teal echo park paper.    the reverse side  of the graphic 45 paper is full of gorgeous die cut shapes to use in your projects.  (the bfly embellishment on my card, is one of those shapes).

I also added one of the pretty charms in the christmas in paris kit.  the sweet ribbon is from my october kit—blue moon.  I love how you can mix and match these kits and they blend beautifully together:)

one of my favorite things about the CHRISTMAS IN PARIS kit is the fact that it's got plenty of ingredients to help you make projects with a christmas theme, OR with a parisienne theme OR both! ...but... you needn't use them that way if it's not the look you're aiming for. like all pixie kits, this thing is flexible! case in point:

a very sweet, very girly birthday card for our eldest niece. having been born on december 23rd, jessica often gets "christmassy" birthday cards, or birthday-themed christmas presents. i think that can be a little bit rough on a young lady, so i like to make a very clear demarcation between those two occasions!

it helped that this kit has one of the best embellishments ever, in my opinion; an entire pack of glitz designs' glossy cardstock diecuts:

i used two-and-a-bit of them on jessica's card. i'm pretty sure you can see the *TWO* (the card with the frolicking girls and the bouquet of roses) but can you spot the "bit"?

yes, it's the sentiment "love you" which i've trimmed from a bigger piece of text in the set! i popped it onto a graphic 45 tag, attached it with some signature seam binding, grabbed a brad leftover from my LA DOLCE VITA kit and i was done! happy birthday, miss jessica! ♥♥♥

Christmas Eve lo by Sandi

Hi everyone! Do you have the holidays on your mind, do you want to capture your precious moments?  Well then this  kit is for you! You are going to absolutely love all the gorgeous papers, the ribbon, and the fabulous embellies that are in this Christmas in Paris kit! For this lo, I used a few different papers, ribbon, and the beautiful Tim Holtz metal heart to capture part of our Christmas memories from last Christmas Eve. I must say that I was so happy to see a full package of Tim Holtz adornments in this kit when I opened it up....I just couldn't wait to use one of them!

this cone ornament was so fun to make!  I used floral papers and a die cut rose from the christmas in paris kit.   the rose was fussy cut from a larger group of roses and attached with foam dots.  the great sheet music paper is from the  blue moon kit.

childhood memories layout by Sandi

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a rather simple lo with you. This one was created using one of the Glitz 'whatnot' cards that is included in this beautiful Christmas in Paris kit. When I held this card, I instantly wanted to create a childhood lo! I decided to put a small slit into the card to slide the pic into, then I added a crown, from the Tim Holtz adornment pkg. that comes in the kit along with some of the Cosmo Cricket bling blings, also included. Yes, I kept it simple so that the focus would be on the childhood memories. That's one of the beauty's of this kit...you can do so many things with almost nothing but the embellies!

Just imagine what memories you can put together with this beautiful array of goodies!
