reindeer games card by lauren bergold

how ♥totally adorable♥ are the echo park "everybody loves christmas" stickers that come in the november pixie dust kit?! ok, i have answered my own question there, haven't i?! of all the cuties on the whole awesome 12x12 sheet, i think rudy reindeer miiiiiiiight just be my favorite! so i thought he should have a whole christmas card to himself:

to make a home for rudy, i punched a 3" circle of patterned paper which i backed with increasingly larger cardstock circles cut with decorative scissors, and with my own wonky hand-drawn scallops. i stitched around with white embroidery floss before adding the stickers and text. the painted snowflake background is stenciled using the negative shape from several punches... (there is a quick mini-tutorial on my personal blog explaining this) ...which i outlined using regular ballpoint pen. i made a decorative border out of paper scraps before machine-stitching around the whole card for a finishing touch!

and now can somebody please direct rudy and myself to those reindeer games? thanks! :)

Merry Christmas Little Bunny ~ 8x8 layout by Kirsty Vittetoe

Another project using Pixie Dust Paperie November Kit "Snow Shoe"
This kit not only filled with my favorite soft, dreamy papers from Prima, it also has a lot of Christmas theme papers from Echo Park, not only that, it also comes with TWO 12" x12" sticker sheet full of christmas goodies, great for all your holiday projects!

I am using most of the christmas collection in "Snow Shoe" to create this 8" x 8" layout

My son Lione was born in the year of Rabbit (Chinese Horoscope), he is my little bunny, even he is a young man now, he still is my little bunny......

When you have a kit like "Snow Shoe", all you need is just photo, and a little decorative edge punch, Christmas project cannot be any easier, cut, peel and paste is all you need to do......

Look at that bunny backpack, isn't it as cute as my little bunny?

Festive Christmas elements in "Snow Shoe"

Be back tomorrow for another christmas project by our Designer Lauren Bergold, and that will round up our November Kit "SNOW SHOE". On November 30, there will be sneak peeks for another fabulous kit from Pixie Dust Paperie, don't miss our December Kit Preview Day!!!!

Hello all!!

It’s me Zielonooka.

This is my next post on this blog.
Today I will present a Christmas card in a tag shape.

Circles which looks like lollipops I sticked on 3D tape, put on Crackle accents and Stickles Glitter Glue.
I put on also Stickles Glitter Glue on the Santa Claus coat and tag.
I added some machine stitching, Liquid Pearls and stars cut out by puncher.

I hope it will be a inspiration and you will also create wonderful Christmas cards.

Spring Bird by Lori Hairston

I just can't get over how pretty these journal die cuts are!  They are perfect for cards, layouts, and even for the sweet little bird hanging I decided to make.  I can see this as a wonderful Mother's Day gift.  Just write a sweet love note on the back and it can serve as card and decoration!  Everything (except the twine) is from the November kit.
The brads from My Mind's Eye are so pretty...I used three of them on this.  The ribbon card includes a blue felt ric-rac.  I rolled it up to create the little rosebud.  The doily behind the bird is from the packaging of the Prima flowers.
This kit has such amazing possibilities from Christmas to Mother's Day!

"let it snow" card by lauren bergold

here's a card i thought was DONE before i added the stitching. it had the sage green panel with a border of the fabulously nubbly "lost and found" trim. it had the strips of prima and echo park patterned paper and my computer-generated sentiment. it even had the fun layered die-cut snowflake surmounted by a prima flower. it looked *good* ...and yet...somehow... i didn't love it.

i set it aside and came back the next day. i used a scrap of green to try out a few background treatments. stamping? not quite right. spray ink? nope. bit of stenciling? uh-uh. finally it hit me: i would hand-stitch a flourishy swirl, as if a little gust of wind had just blown the snowflake onto my card. one hand-stitched swirl. (just ONE!)

half an hour later i was still at the sewing machine, swirling and flourishing... flourishing and swirling... and my little gust of wind had somehow become an arctic gale. but *NOW* i love the card!!!

Christmas Accordian Card by Lori Hairston

My grandma loves pictures of her great-grandaughter, (my daughter), Lauren.   So, I thought I would make her an accordian card for Christmas which is also a walk down memory lane.  Lauren is now 24 years old - so it's been awhile since these pictures were taken!
I just cut off the top (or was it the bottom?) section of one of the Echo Park Christmas papers and folded it up.  It makes a perfect accordian card.
Then I added a lot of cute bits from the sticker sheet and that pretty green ribbon
I die cut some stars from the Jack n' Jill papers and glittered them up.
I think my grandma is really going to enjoy these pictures of Lauren!
